In order to learn the ways in which new creation of the art with the chemical structure and guiding educational principle in the Chemistry, Department of Chemistry organized a ‘Chem Art’ group activity for II B.Sc students from March 02, 2022 To March 08, 2022. Students were asked to make a group of 6-7 students in each group and to submit their chart with the creative pictures with chemical structure or the conceptual chemistry art. 59 Students from PCM and BZC streams were involved in this group activity and prepared nine charts. Students were able to work together in a group, to show their innovative skills, their ideas and they came up with creative pictures filled with many chemical structures and submitted on time. All the students learned and employed the state of the art technology that underlines modern chemical investigation. Through this activity students were able to critically evaluate scientific information and communicate information, clearly and effectively. All the faculty members of the department appreciated the student’s efforts in making this activity a great success. Best Charts were awarded with certificates.
This activity for II BSc students provided an opportunity to think critically, evaluate scientific information and communicate such information, clearly and effectively.
