While fondly remembering the two great souls of India on their birth anniversary, the institute celebrated Gandhi and Shastri Jayanti on October 02, 2022 at 9:30 AM in the College Seminar Hall.
The Principal Dr. Premalatha V. speaking on the occasion said “Gandhi and Shastri Jayanti this time is even more special as India is celebrating Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, marking 75 glorious years of our nation’s Independence. As we enter the Amrit Kaal, this day is an apt occasion for all of us to rededicate ourselves to the values of their inspiring lives – peace, equality, and communal harmony. This is the time for all of us to work towards the realization of India of Gandhiji’s dreams. His abiding faith in truth and inherent goodness of human being is much needed today. Every generation must rediscover Mahatma Gandhi in its own way. Shastriji stands ever tall for his high integrity, moral character and lofty principles. His words “Jai Jawan Jai Kisan” continue to inspire and act as a guiding force in the process of nation building. His simplicity and decisiveness is admired by all. There is much to learn from their lives. May we always strive to live up to their noble ideals.”
The Principal and the staff members present on the occasion offered floral tributes to the portrait of Sri Mahatma Gandhiji and also kindled the lamp.
The IQAC Coordinators Mr. Hardik P. Chauhan welcomed the gathering. The Student Welfare Mentor Mrs. Sushma R. Shetty proposed the vote of thanks. A total of 25 staff members attended this programme.
