Dance allows one to express oneself. It provides relaxation and refreshment to mind and body. In order to develop the potential of students and showcase their hidden talents and skills dance competition was organized by the Fine Arts Association of our college on June 08, 2022 on the eve of annual day celebration. Competition was held in various categories like Classical solo, Western Solo, Folk Group, Western Group . Totally 140 students actively participated. The competition began with great exuberance and zeal. The participants dressed in colorful costumes, twirled around and set the stage on fire with their thrilling performance. The occasion was graced by the esteemed presence of our Principal, teaching and Non- teaching staff and the students.
Mrs Sanjana Kamath, Managing Director of Skill Set Solutions Pvt Ltd, Ms.Trisha Shetty m, Bharathanatyam and Theatre artist were the judges of this competition. 600 students were present as audience. The best three dancers and dance groups were rewarded with prizes. All the participants were well appreciated by the judges.
Mrs. Jayashree Shetty, Convener of the association, Mrs. Soujanya D Coordinator of the activity, Mrs.Keerthi Alva ,Mr. Manohar Acharya, , Ms Meghana Ramesh and Mrs. Kavitha Ganesh Co-convenors coordinated this activity. This activity strived to achieve the core values of contributing to National Development, quest for excellence and inculcating value system.
