Kargil Vijay Diwas was organized by the Student Welfare Council. Commander Mahesh Manel Nayak, Indian Navy (Retired) was the Chief Guest for the Programme. He said in his speech that all the youngsters must consider joining our army and serving our country. He also said that the youth of today are well-informed, tech savvy, the driving force of tomorrow, so instead of blaming the system, they should come together and mould the nation for a better tomorrow. They are creative and innovative and have the capacity to change the complete picture of India. In his presidential address, CA M. Jagannath Kamath, Correspondent of our college, said that India needs more and more able volunteers who can be trained to serve the nation with integrity. It should be solely their choice to join and serve India in armed forces. He further added that for youngsters aspiring to choose a career of excitement and challenges, armed forces can meet all their professional expectations. A total of 21 students from UG and 35 students from PG participated in this programme.
