Celebrating the Golden Jubilee year of Canara College, the English Association and the Tulu Sangha jointly organized a beach cleaning drive at Panambur Beach. The students picked up all the non-bio-degradable waste that was found on the beach and disposed it appropriately. The activity was held to create a sense of responsibility and consciousness among the students on appropriate disposal of waste and its effect on our ecosystem. Six students from the English Association and 11 students from the Tulu Sangha participated in the drive. Conveners of the Associations Mrs. Rithika S Das, Mrs. Savitha D K along with Ms. Vishwathmika, lecturer, Department of English, coordinated the drive.
