Leadership opportunities are very important to learn the art of building relationships within teams, defining identities, and achieving tasks effectively. It also provides an opportunity to identify and display effective communication and interpersonal skills. Keeping in mind this objective and to enhance students’ skills in Leadership, Management and Team Building, a workshop on “The Role of Leadership in building a Corporate Culture” by Mr. Dawn Prakash, Assistant Professor, SDM PG Centre for Management Studies and Research, Mangaluru was organized for the students of Commerce and Management Association. He emphasized on self-improvement, developing positive environment, building self-confidence, self-realization, Decision making, working under group, social manners and etiquettes, interpersonal skills etc.
Apart from theoretical knowledge, Sir also provided practical exposure to the students by giving them various activities. Students have thoroughly enjoyed and actively participated in all the activities. 67 students participated in this workshop.
