Having basic computer knowledge in current times is not only important but mandatory for the students. Everyone needs to be aware of these skills to cope up with the professional fields they will get into soon as it is one of the most basic things to know, to be confident and competent in this Technological Era. With this idea, an inauguration programme of Add-on course on “Basic Computer Skills” was organized on November 8, 2022 at 1.30 PM in seminar hall. Ms. Megha, Lecturer, Department of M.com, welcomed the gathering and Ms. Priyanka, Assistant Professor, Department of Commerce and Management delivered the significance and details of Add on Course.
The inauguration of add-on course was done by Dr. Premalatha V, Principal. In her talk she spoke on the importance of computer skills in today’s corporate world. Quoting real-life and corporate examples, she emphasized on the basics of MS-word, Excel and Power Point and Tally. The program was concluded with vote of thanks by Mr. Karthik K Kamath, Lecturer, Department of Commerce and Management. Total 60 students participated in the program. This program served the core value of promoting the use of technology.
