Library and Information Centre and Library Readers Club with the support of Library Advisory Committee organized a General Quiz Competition for all the students of the college on account of the birth anniversary of Padma Shree Dr. S. R. Ranganathan, the father of Library Science in India. The competition was conducted at two levels. In Level-1, 33 teams participated, out of which the best five were selected for Level 2. Level-1 was a written quiz with 40 multiple choice questions, which was conducted in the library. Level-2 was a power point presentation with 6 rounds of questions.
Members of Readers Club took active participation in organizing this competition. The winners were Mr. Hanuma and Mr. Shivakiran from III BSc. – I place. Mr. Darshan and Mr. V. Venkatesh from I BSc. – II place. The winners were awarded with certificates and books. Altogether 60 students participated in this event.
