The Centre for PG Studies in Commerce organized an informative session on “Opportunities and Ways to Enter the Banking Industry” by Mr. Vikas Kumar, Assistant Manager, SBI Funds Management Ltd., on January 5, 2023, at 2.00 pm.
The purpose of the session was to educate students about the banking industry and the various opportunities available to postgraduate students. The resource person provided information on how to enter the banking profession, the educational requirements, the age limit, and the examinations used to hire individuals for banking jobs. In addition, he provided information on how to train students to pass banking competitive exams, how to operate in the banking industry, and several other crucial concepts.
Ms. Ashwini Hegde of I M. Com welcomed the gathering, Ms. Vishala of I M Com offered a vote of thanks, and Ms. Deeksha of II M. Com compered the program. The session was attended by a total of 43 M. Com students. The session aimed at fulfilling the core values such as fostering global competencies and human excellence among students and eliciting quest for excellence as a permanent commitment.
