“On the eve of the annual day celebration in 2023, a Mehendi competition was organized by the Fine Arts Association on March 28, 2023. Irrespective of their exposure and experience, students adorned their hands with beautiful designs, which helped boost their confidence in the art. This activity mainly aimed to provide a platform for students to exhibit their talent and creativity. Forty-four students from different programs enthusiastically participated in this competition.

Mrs. Vijetha Bhat, Assistant Professor in the Department of B.C.A., and Ms. Sahana Acharya, Graphic Designer, were the judges. This event was judged based on criteria such as design, neatness, and creativity. Ms. Nidhishri from III B.Com, Ms. Raksha H from III B.Com, and Ms. Sahana J.P from III B.Com were awarded first, second, and third prizes, respectively, for their best art. The active participation of all the participants was well appreciated by the judges.

Mrs. Jayashree Shetty, Convener of the association, Mrs. Keerthi Alva, Mrs. Laxmi Hegde, Mrs. Soujanya D, Mrs. Kavitha Ganesh, and Mrs. Aditi Nayak, Co-convenors, coordinated the activity.This activity strived to achieve the core values of a quest for excellence, inculcating a value system, and fostering global competency”
