International taxation is the study or determination of tax on a person or business subject to the tax laws of different countries, or the international aspects of an individual country’s tax laws as the case may be. In order to provide value addition to the students, a curriculum Enrichment Programme on International Taxation was organized by the Department of Commerce and Management on January 21,2023 for III B. Com A students. CA G. Gokul Pai, Associate of Corporate tax and International Taxation, Big 4, Bengaluru was the resource person. He has provided information on Transfer Pricing, GAAR, Double Taxation Avoidance Agreement and real-life examples of International Taxation with reference to Individual and Corporate Sectors. The session ended with a quiz round on the topic International Taxation.
70 students of III B Com A participated and benefitted from this session. The programme was coordinated by Mrs.Anasuya Bhagvath Faculty, Department of Commerce and Management.
