The Government Higher Primary School in Mannagudda, Mangaluru, organized a cluster-level sports competition on November 19, 2022. Twenty-three NSS volunteers and NSS program officers from our college collaborated with them to organize the event. They assisted in setting up the venue, serving the participants water and food, etc. That was an excellent opportunity for hands-on learning for the volunteers. Both the Cluster Authorities and the Headmaster of the School expressed their gratitude towards the selfless work provided by our volunteers. The NSS Programme Officers Mrs. Seema Prabhu S. and Mrs. Vani U.S. guided the volunteers.
Through this initiative, the volunteers learnt the spirit of volunteering and it was a great opportunity for experiential learning. This extension activity served to achieve the core values of Contribution to National Development and Inculcating value system amongst the volunteers
