Student welfare council organized 74th Republic Day celebration on the college campus on January 26, 2023. Mrs. Shreema Priyadarshini, Golden girl of Mangalore was the chief guest of the programme.
In her speech, the principal guest emphasized the value of the constitution and its distinctive traits while hoisting the Indian Tricolor. She also urged our pupils to engage in extracurricular and cocurricular activities that will boost their self-esteem and develop them into strong citizens. The national song was passionately sung by the students as a display of their patriotism. Dr. Premalatha V., Principal, Canara College and Mrs. Anila, Principal, Canara Evening college were present. Altogether 100 students and 50 staff members took part in the celebrations. The program has strived to inculcate core values such as value system, contributing to national development among students.
