As part of the curriculum, students in their last year of Bachelor of Business Administration were taken to the District and Sessions Court in Mangalore on January 21, 2023 to have a firsthand understanding of the court’s working procedures. Mrs. Ashalatha, Assistant Professor, Department of Commerce and Management, and Mrs. Sushma R. Shetty, Assistant Professor, Department of Commerce and Management, accompanied the students. The Principal District and Sessions Judge of Mangalore authorized the visit. Mrs. Swarna Gowri, a practicing lawyer at District Court, Mangalore, opened the day by giving the students a quick introduction to the court, court chambers, and court operations. The pupils were then put into groups of five and told to tour several courtrooms and watch the proceedings
