Centre for Post Graduate Studies in Commerce organized a session on Union Budget Analysis- 2023 on February 06, 2023 in the College seminar hall at 2.00pm
CA Karthikeya Shenoy, partner at CA M Jagannath Kamath & Co was the Resource Person for the session. In the first half of the session, detailed information was given to the students related to the process of preparation of Budget, role of NITI Aayog in planning and allocation of funds to various sectors etc. The second half of the session was related to Revenue and Expenditure pattern of the Government for the next Financial Year. Also information was shared related to the new and old tax regime of Income Tax payment.
43 students took active participation in the session. Principal Dr. Premalatha V., PG Coordinator Mrs. Swathi Nayak, and the PG faculty were present on the occasion. Ms. Ashwini Hegde compered the programme, Ms. Meghana Rao proposed the vote of thanks.
