The Rovers and Rangers’ Association Orientation and Certificate Distribution Program took place on September 23, 2023, at the College Seminar Hall. This event was organized to provide valuable information to the students and to recognize their achievements through certificate distribution. The program was presided over by Dr. Premalatha, the Principal of the institution.
The program featured Sri Dinakara K, Rover Scout Leader from S.N.S.G.P.U. College, Haleangady, who served as the resource person for the event. Sri Dinakara K gave insights on the significance of Rovers and Rangers in higher education during a brief formal session.
Certificates from two distinctive programs were distributed during the event. Firstly, certificates from the Summer Camp held in May 2023 were awarded. This event not only fostered learning but also provided students with valuable experiences. Additionally, certificates from the First Responder Add-on Course, which was conducted in the even semester of the academic year 2022-23, were distributed. This course undoubtedly equipped students with essential life-saving skills.
In total, 24 students were honored in this certificate distribution program. Their dedication and hard work were acknowledged. Mr. Pramod Kumar P.S, Rover Scout Leader from Canara College, took charge of compering the program, ensuring the smooth flow of the event. Ms. Savitha D K, Ranger Leader from Canara College, played a crucial role in coordinating the entire program. Her efforts contributed significantly to the success of the event.
