The Department of Commerce and Management organized a workshop on ‘Designing a Research Paper’ on November 25, 2023. Dr. Therese Pereira, Associate Professor at GFGC Kavoor, served as the resource person for the workshop. The primary objective was to help students understand and enhance their skills in crafting quality research papers.
During the workshop, the resource person provided an overview of the research paper’s structure and delved into various aspects of the research process. This included selecting a research topic, setting research objectives, employing research methodology, data tabulation and analysis, as well as interpreting findings and making suggestions. Dr. Pereira used multiple examples to familiarize participants with the process of designing a research paper.
Fifty-seven students from the Department of Commerce and Management actively participated in this workshop. Mrs. Jayashree Shetty, a faculty member in the Department of Commerce and Management, coordinated the activity.
