Training on Registration In ‘MY BHARAT’ Portal

October 21, 2023

The Mera Yuva Bharat (MY Bharat) portal is envisioned as a technology-driven facilitator for youth development and youth-led development, with the overarching goal of providing equitable opportunities to empower the youth in realizing their aspirations and contributing to the creation of a “Viksit Bharat” (Developed India). In a momentous decision, the Union Cabinet approved the establishment of MY Bharat on October 11, 2023. At the closing ceremony of ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’, on October 31, 2023, MY Bharat platform, an autonomous body as an enabling mechanism, powered by technology, for youth development through ‘Kartavya Bodh’ and ‘Seva Bhaav’, during the Amrit Kaal was launched.

The platform is for Indian youth between the ages of 15 and 29, forming a significant population of 40 crore. It aims to create a Phygital (Physical +Digital) ecosystem comprising physical activity along with an opportunity to connect digitally to empower young people to become catalysts for community transformation. The benefits of MY Bharat Portal can be availed by young people by registering themselves on the official website: https://www.mybharat.gov.in/.

Registration in ‘MY Bharat’ portal being mandatory for all NSS Programme Officers and NSS Volunteers within a stipulated time period, a training programme for the first year NSS Volunteers was organized on December 06, 2023, in Lecture Hall No. 4, by Mrs. Seema Prabhu S., NSS Programme Officer of Canara College. 114 NSS Volunteers successfully registered in this all-encompassing platform- MY Bharat- dedicated to the holistic development of the country’s youth, thus contributing to national development.
