Maintenance is essential to keep our garden healthy and beautiful. working in the garden and caring for plants can also be a therapeutic way to spend our time. The importance of trees in purifying the air, as natural resources, maintaining the ecological balance, preventing soil erosion, as medicines, habitats for faunal species, providing nutrients to the soil, etc. is well known. The Plantation and Maintenance of the Botanical Garden were carried out by 17 students of the Nature Club association. The activity was done once a week in the College Botanical Garden during association hour. This activity includes planting trees, watering, composting, and weeding. Students were divided into four groups and each group was assigned the work of planting, watering, composting, and weeding.
This activity has inculcated the core values such as contribution to national development and inculcating value system among students.
