The programme was organized for the students of Dakishna Kannada Zilla Panchayath School, Mannagudda and Dakishna Kannada Zilla Panchayath Higher Primary School, Gandhinagar,Urva. Totally 38 students participated in the programme. The students were accompanied by the teachers Mrs. Pushpalatha, D.K. Zilla Panchayath School,Mannagudda and Mrs. Rajeshwari Prabhu and Mrs. Pauline Jessi Seravo from D.K. Zilla Panchayath Higher Primary School, Gandhinagar, Urva.
The programme began with prayer by Ms.Rakshitha, Ms. Ashwitha and Ms. Deepthi from III BCA. Mrs.Jayabharathi, H.O.D. of the department gave the introductory speech. Principal Dr. K.V. Malini presided the programe and in her speech mentioned that now a days without having knowledge of IT are treated as illiterate and the invited students should make use of this opportunity in the best way. Mrs. Shailaja, Assistant Professor expressed the gratitude to the gathering. Mr. Nihal, III Bcom ‘G’ from photographic club captured the glimpses of the programme.
First and Second B.C.A and B.Sc. (PMC) students piloted the presentation and explained the various internal parts of the computer to the school students.IT club members explained the application of internet such as Google Search, Udayavani Paper, Science projects, Wikipedia etc. etc.
The invited students and their teachers appreciated the whole programme and for gaining the knowledge about the internal parts, in their feedback and also requested us to invite them for the programmes in the upcoming year.
