Human Rights, Equal Opportunity & Electoral Literacy Cell

Human rights cell came into existence in our college during the academic year since 2007-2008.The cell aims at creating awareness about human rights among the faculties, staffs and students. It also aims at personality development of individual and to lead a decent and dignified life without infringing the rights of others.

Vision:
The vision of human rights cell is to visualize a comprehensive society where everyone takes responsibility to promote and preserve human rights.

Mission:
Is to promote, preserve and implement human rights through effective institutional policy development, capability building and control of human rights violations.

Motto: Voice for liberty

Human rights has implicit importance as they are considered indispensable for the survival of human beings. There are more than 35 students enrolled under the Human Rights Cell. They are actively involved in various activities undertaken by the Cell. The Human Rights Cell aims to provide a “forum where students are able to enrich their knowledge of current issues and to bring their classroom learning to life”.

Objectives:

  • To create awareness among students about Human Rights.
  • To develop individual personality & lead a decent and dignified life without infringing the rights of others.
  • To develop leadership qualities and Building confidence among the students.
  • To generate awareness about Human Rights violation issues.
  • To make our students as a good citizen of our country.
