Kannada Sangha organized a programme on Reflection of Values in Old Kannada Movie Songs on July 15th 2015. The chief guest Tonse Pushal Kumar, well known singer, went down memory lane; he sang and analyzed old Kannada songs, which are part of Mangalore University under graduate Kannada text book.
In regard to life values, the selection of popular Kannada film songs as text has given a new dimension to academic studies as it can be taken seriously in learning different situations of life.
The Principal Dr. Malini K.V presided over the function. There were 68 students to witnessed the programme and benefited.
