On August 13, 2015, Kannada Sangha organized ‘ Sahitiyondige Samvada’, an interactive session with Dr Nagaveni H, Chief Liberian, Humpi University at the college seminar hall.
Addressing students she said, “it is essential to manifest modern changes. However the changes should not disrupt the rural substance of India.” She also said “gender discrimination along with casteism and communalism has created gulf between individuals and it serves as a barrier to good human relationship”.
In the interactive session students had discussion with resource person on her ‘kappe sharade mela’, a text of second year B.Sc syllabus.
Principal Dr. Malini K.V presided over the function. Ms. Anushalakshmi of I B.Com welcomed the gathering. Mr. Mahesh of II B.Com proposed vote of thanks. Staff Conveners of the Sangha Mrs.Thara Kumari & Mrs. Vani, students’ secretaries Ganapathi Bhat of III B.Com and Deeksha K.J of II B.Com were present.
103 students were benefited from this programme.
