Commerce and Management association organized a One Day Inter Class Commerce and Management Fest “INFINITY-2K18, Life is all about Twists” on August 13, 2018 at Canara College.
The event Infinity was inaugurated by Dr. Shakila B, Assistant Professor, Dept. of Business Administration , St. Joseph College of Engineering and Administration , Vamanjoor. The chief guest unveiled the logo and the trophies during the event with hope that a well begun event will end up successfully. In her address she appreciated the organizers for the keen interest in the extra -curricular activities and for their effort to upgrade their knowledge in the relevant areas of a management. She also congratulated all the participants for seizing opportunities given to them to excel and to self improve.
Dr K.V Malini, the Principal in her presidential address urged the students that winning and losing is not important but the important thing is participation and insisted the students to make use of the platforms like Infinity to enhance their leadership qualities and to develop themselves.
The fest witnessed 14 registrations from about 123 students from all the streams.
18 event heads and 18 event managers from Commerce and Management Association came together to organize this fest with a variety of events such as; Best Manager, Marketing, Finance, Human Resource, Public Relations, Entrepreneur , Research & Development, Event Planning and Quiz, to challenge the students. All these events combined with education and fun, explored professional and personal excellence of our students. These were judged by eminent professors, professionals and by our own alumnus.
Prof. Tara Kumari, Assistant Professor, Department of Kannada of Canara College graced this occasion as a guest of honor for the Valedictory ceremony and gave away the prizes. She said that students should be confident about themselves and only then they can achieve success. Team Vision emerged as the overall winners and Team Thor as Overall Runners of Infinity-2k18.
